Lake Hawea and Aoraki

Picture 033 Picture 281

Classic central South Island, a lake and mountains and not many houses, people or roads. Mt Cook/Aoraki (Cloud-piercer, great name) is NZ’s highest mountain at 12,000ish feet. I like the contrast of warm and cold in this one, must do that again. Oils on canvas 24″X36″
