Classic central South Island, a lake and mountains and not many houses, people or roads.
Mt Cook/Aoraki (Cloud-piercer, great name) is NZ’s highest mountain at 12,000ish feet.
Hanging in my lounge, not really for sale – a crossroads piece for me in that I realised that it was good, and that just maybe I wasn’t fooling myself by trying to do art. I particularly like the contrast of warm and cold in this one, must do that again.
